Miracles happen when you believe! – by Paul Mihalcea, student at Ferdinand School, no. 41, Galati
They say…life is what you make of it!…If you want a better world, it’s so simple to get it: just believe and your dreams can come true!
One day I prayed for magic eyes. I wanted to see what others couldn’t. An angel appeared next to me, he put me on his wings and we started to fly higher and higher. Today, I’ll show you the world through my eyes!”, he said. “Take these beautiful coloured glasses. Every colour has a different meaning: red is love, green is peace, white is purity and hope, yellow is kindness, but you need faith to see all this.”
He took me to a white room with a mirror in the middle. “Look in the mirror and tell me what you see!”… I saw myself, looking like a little cat, scared and with no courage to face the world. I put on the glasses but now I looked like a brave lion. He said: “That’s what you can really be if you believe! That’s how you can make the world a better place!”
Then I saw a table with a crystal ball on it. He touched it with his magic stick to show me the world. I saw people running all day long, too busy to show love. “When we go back, tell them nobody can live without love!” I put on the glasses and I saw there was a lot of love in everyone, but it needed someone to take it out.
We stopped in front of my window: “I’d like you to see this window differently from now on. Every time you open it, think that’s the path for hope, love and courage to fulfill your life, thus you’ll be able to make the world a better place!” I was afraid I’d forget that magic day after he left, but he asked if I had a wish. There was only one thing I wanted: those coloured glasses in order to help me always remember that day and what I was able to do if I believed!
