With a background in languages and psychology, Loredana has been teaching at Shakespeare School since 2009. She brings extensive experience preparing students for Cambridge exams, designing courses for different age groups, and creating meaningful classroom connections.
Loredana is a dedicated ESL teacher who has been working at Shakespeare School since 2009, bringing years of experience and passion to her classroom.
She graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Bucharest, as well as from the Faculty of Psychology, which enriches her teaching with a strong understanding of student development. She also holds a Master’s degree in Modern Translations and a CELTA certificate, demonstrating her commitment to high-quality language teaching and continuous professional growth.
She has extensive experience in preparing students for Cambridge exams at all levels, from A1 to C1, consistently supporting learners in achieving excellent results. In addition, she has designed and developed numerous courses tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels, combining linguistic expertise with a student-centered approach.
Gina has been teaching at Shakespeare School since 2014, working with learners of all ages, from young children to adults. She specialises in Cambridge exam preparation, mentors new teachers, and is passionate about using technology in creative and meaningful ways to enhance the learning experience.
Gina currently coordinates the PET level and serves as a mentor for new teachers within the school, playing an active role in both academic team development and the creation of teaching materials.
Over the years, Gina Podaru has specialised in English language teaching, earning internationally recognised Cambridge qualifications such as TKT and CELTA. She has also delivered professional development workshops for both Shakespeare School teachers and English teachers across Bucharest as part of the Bright Teachers programme organised at Cărturești Bookstore.
Passionate about the evolution of technology and its impact on education, Gina strongly believes that digital tools can become valuable and creative resources in both teaching and the learning experience when used in a balanced and meaningful way.
