Essay topic:
If one person breaks a pattern and thinks outside the box, this first endeavour is going to be considered ingenious, original and groundbreaking.
If we all follow in this persons footsteps and break the same pattern in the same way, are we still unconventional?
Or will that simply result in yet another pattern?
Many people these days choose to wear the same brand of shoes as their peers, seem to be saving up to buy the same latest gadget and listen to the same bands as their friends, just because those are the established landmarks of nonconformism in their reference system.
It appears that in our attempt to be unique, we end up walking around as copycats of others.
Could it be true, then, that conforming to nonconformism makes one a conformist? |
Write an opinion essay of 350-500 words on the above-mentioned statement, give it an original title and blow our minds with your revolutionary take on breaking patterns!
Note: All essays submitted must be written in English and must be original and unpublished
Amaze us with your fresh ideas and you may win an amazing summer school in the UK!
