The cell cancer of the Earth, by Roxana Iordache, 17 years old, student at National College, Targoviste
She was walking on the dust and the dust whispered pain. But her eyes ignored the sound and the crumpled imagine resounded with the same wiping like before. While she was watching herself in the mirror she saw how the guilt`s venom was spreading easily outside her body. That was the image of Happiness losing herself in the labyrinth of life. But this one is the story of founding Hope:
“Who are you stranger and why are you helping me without asking something in return?” said Happiness. ”Why do you want me to find the way out from the labyrinth?”
“I am the one once called Pessimism. I was the cancer cell of the Earth, because I used to ignore good and say that I did not care until they found me. They are Faith-a group of people who fight against the crimes, the wars and the poverty. They are trying to destroy racial discrimination and pollution by killing the indifference. These are the factors which bring the cancer in our planet. We do not know the cure yet, but we are sure that together we can heal. All that people knew was how to feed the evil. Now I have learnt to see the light hidden in the gloomy tunnel and I became Hope. Faith showed me why it is so vital for the humanity to live after some rules and also taught me that every bad thing reveals a good one. We can not heal what is health. We can not rise unless we fall. But the problem is that we avoid the information and we refuse to see the signs of a planet eaten inside by these starving worms.
If you want to change this world you have to change yourself. Therefore, step by step, we started ecological campaigns, we learnt that people not only heal Teaching/Mentoring experience: I have worked with my loca and churches to develop tutoring programs and classes that teach children the fundamentals to do well in school. people, but also they can heal the nature. We wrote articles about what ecology means and we published them. We discussed about wars and religious conflicts and we helped poor people around the Globe. We supported the hospitals and we created many institutions which help the people who do not know how to write and read. Come with me into the Faith group to share our incredible desire for knowledge and to help the others. We are not interested in what you have, but who you are. We help you to find yourself, to know yourself better.Open your eyes and see that everything is possible. Together we can do it.”
Then Hope offered her hand and Happiness grabbed it. She has finally found peace because it is surrounded by people from Faith. These marvelous people are the volunteers all around the Globe. They show you every second that a human is incomplete without happiness. But the happiness they give you acquires the faith that hope still exists even in the darkest moments.
