Desene animate fara dublare

Iata ecoul in presa al campaniei noastre impotriva dublarii desenelor animate:

Ziua Online: Petitie impotriva dublarii desenelor animate
Curierul National: Shakespeare School, impotriva dublarii in romana a filmelor

In plus, in conditiile in care analfabetismul este o amenintare, subtitrarea ar reprezenta o incurajare a mentinerii in randul populatiei a unei capacitati minime de citire.

Now, that’s a subject that really caught my attention as I was flipping through a stack of net pages… It captured my attention mainly because I had the same problem when I was a kid: I wanted to perfect my English, but I couldn’t do as I pleased because powerful suit-wearing people that are behind the steering wheel of every large Hummer-like vehicle, generally known as a “company” decided to put an end to my dreams of flying away to another land…by translating American or British cartoons into Romanian. Big mistake! Actually, I can very easily state two main reasons for which I consider this unefficient and ridiculousy unuseful. First of all, it stripped my already-too-boring childhood of whatever bit of action and adventure it had left! Not being able to fully enjoy the cartoons in the original language, I was forced to renounce my dreams of migrating to UK. And second, instead of helping me shape my knowledge of English through some way other than books, translated cartoons forcefully pulled me back, attempting to stop my linguistic evolution, and making me return to my roots, so that I would be stuck for eternity in this small fish-shaped country, which I love, nonetheless, but also hate, in that it obligates me to love her! (by this post, I am also signing up for the essay contest, another attempt to swim away to more brighter shores) 🙂 Anton Alexandra, 14 years old

quite impressive point of view! we hope your linguistic evolution won’t be stopped whatsoever, but on the contrary. even your participation to our essay contest for example, is a prove that you are keen on continuing learning English and constantly improving your knowledge, isn’t it?
however, what i didn’t understand is why were you forced to rennounce to your dreams of emigrating to another country? i mean you still have time to continue your studies in UK, maybe after you finish high school!
i must also confess that i am surprised by the maturity in thinking of a 14 years old girl! just keep your creative flow! 😎

🙂 Well, you know how it is….as an aspiring journalist, I had to add some drama, didn’t I? (And “force” is a powerful word… 😀 In any case, thank you for the comliment ( “maturity in thinking of a 14 years old girl”), and I certainly will keep the creativity flowing!

I believe this decision of dubbing cartoons into Romanian is quite a far-fetched, exaggerated sense of patriotism. What the authorities and all the individuals that carry a lot of weight in the process of decision making must understand, is that dubbing English cartoons makes a more euphemistic action out of that of copying others’ works of art. It would be more effective to have our own Romanian cartoon industry, with our own channels, ideas and stories, don’t you think?. When this happens, we may have the right of claiming nationalism.

well… i totally agree with them not dubbing the cartoons anymore.
i perfectioned my english only because of the cartoons!and that`s a fact.since i hate learning and in middle school i had a really mean teacher.so…i had no interest in learning english 😛 .but since i liked watching cartoons i learned it.even nowadays when i watch a movie or cartoons on my pc i don`t even bother to search for subs since i understand.and i`m sure you all know that when they are dubbing or subbing they don`t translate all the sentences and even give wrong meanings to some words and that`s not good for those who are trying to learn.this is my point of view 😉

    Well…good luck with this!!!!!
