Eseu castigator 11-14 ani – Mentiune (Stefanescu Radu)

MY  IDEAL WORLD, by Radu Stefanescu, student at School, no.2, Galati

I live in a world full of contradictions, a world divided into haves and have-nots, black and white, weak and strong. A world in which the rules apply only to the poor and  the weak  while there is no rule for the politicians  – for the ones in power, in fact. This is why I took a crystal ball and all of a sudden I saw the world I would like to live in.

A world in which everybody is happy because they have everything they need. A world in which everybody has a work place and is paid a salary that helps them live comfortably. A world in which there is no corruption and people help each other. A world in which there are no wars as everybody is equal. If there would be an earthquake or a hurricane I would hit the ground with Moses’ stick and the earth would stop quaking and the wind blowing. A world in which there wouldn’t be blocks of flats and people would leave in houses surrounded by gardens full of multi -coloured flowers. Each house has its windows open to the great range of opportunities the ideal world offers everyone.

In my world people and animals would live together in peace. Trees and plants would grow everywhere and nature reserves would be protected. Cars and all the other means of transport would go on eco fuel, so there would be no pollution.

As in fairytales there would be a mirror for everyone to look at themselves into whenever they lost their courage and felt weak. This would help them get rid of their weaknesses and feel strong and courageous again.

If I were to bring something back to my world, that would be the peace that would help us to forget our fears and live a happier life than the one we are living today. Nevertheless, I would like to live in the ideal world I have just described for one day at least.
