“ What are you saying there! Don’t you want to be an adult ,child!”said mom angrily.
“But I want to! I want to be an adult! I’m tired of my teenager life! T.I.R.E.D!”I yelled at her.

20 years later
I remembered how my life was when I was little, careless and naïve. So easy! Poor mother… She left me, here…In this ruthless world, she let me be eaten by these hungry eyes, who want… What do they want from me? I wished to be like her, a movie star. She complained ”Why do you want this? You don’t know what you want, kid!” I yelled. How could she call me kid.. Silly me.
All my life I wanted to be here, this was my dream, my teenage dream! And now, what? Where is that freedom that I hoped would hit me in the face, the innocent dreams drawn on the sky which I used to breath in- every morning? They’re in the past. Now I have to work, to fall on the floor because of late night work…No personal life.
“Why can’t you stay with me more? You are not like the other mothers!”
Sure she wasn’t! She was my mother! And I was so disrespectful! Now I see what she tried to tell me. But my eyes were blind and now only pills can keep them awake. I don’t find myself through the people who made me,my managers. I don’t find myself in my words, I just hope things would change, so that I could fly in wonderland again ,but my feet are stuck on the ground and can’t move.
So I let it be. I can’t turn back the time. I only wish that I could tell her how much she meant to me. No more regrets from now. I’ve got to find the strength in me because I am…A grown woman

Premiul a constat intr-un voucher de reducere in valoare de 200 de lire pentru o tabara de limba engleza de 2 saptamani in Anglia oferit de Mirunette International Education, carti de la Fischer International si de la Carturesti si materiale promotionale de la Vitastal Consulting. O felicitam pe Vanda pentru eseul ei care s-a evidentiat din alte mii de eseuri trimise la concursul national de creatie in limba engleza organizat de Shakespeare School si ii uram mult succes in continuare!
